Requires to be earthed by wiring in or by contact via serrated washers penetrating paint/powder coat to the bare metal mounting base.
CAUTION
Observe correct polarity when installing generator or battery. The ground polarity must be the same for both generator and the battery. REVERSE POLARITY >>> WILL DESTROY the voltage regulator and it will show if tested.
Disconect the battery before removing the generator, to minimize the possibility of injury... ground cable first.
